My name is Ty Letendre, and I am from Bedford, New Hampshire.
I am a Junior at Syracuse University studying Journalism at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. I am a journalist who tells stories and aims to connect audiences with the people behind the headlines. I work across platforms, audio, digital, and multimedia. I value reporting that is fair, accurate, and grounded in actual experiences. At Syracuse University, I am improving my writing and interviewing skills while building a portfolio that reflects my work ethic.
Over the summer, I had the amazing opportunity to intern as a journalist with the Valley Blue Sox in Holyoke, Massachusetts. This opened my eyes to the real reporting world and gave me so many valuable tools that I will use post-graduation.
